Sriracha: Is it same like gochujang?

Sriracha is a type of spicy sauce or chili sauce prepared from a paste of chili peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt

Sriracha is a popular dipping sauce in Thailand, especially for seafood and omelets. Sriracha is a condiment for ph and fried noodles, a topping for spring rolls (ch gi), and a component of sauces in Vietnamese cuisine.

Additionally, burgers, eggs, and soup all have sriracha. The sauce has been used to make jams, lollipops, and cocktails, and sriracha-flavored potato chips have been sold.

In the village of Si Racha (or Sriracha), Thailand, a Thai woman by the name of Thanom Chakkapak created the sauce for the first time.

The name of the sauce in Thailand is most frequently sot Sriracha (Thai: ), and nam prik Sriracha (Thai: ) is only occasionally used. Compared to non-Thai varieties, traditional Thai sriracha sauce has a tangier flavor and a runnier consistency.

Eastland Food Corporation, a US distributor of Asian foods, claimed in an interview with Bon Appétit magazine that the Thai brand of hot sauce Sriraja Panich, which Eastland sells, is the original "sriracha sauce" and was developed in Si Racha, Thailand, in the 1930s using a recipe provided by a housewife by the name of Thanom Chakkapak.

In the US, many restaurants have started using sriracha in their food, sometimes combining it with mayonnaise or dipping sauces. These restaurants include Wendy's, Applebee's, P.F. Chang's, Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Subway, Taco Bell, White Castle, Gordon Biersch, Chick-fil-A, Firehouse Subs, Noodles & Company, Starbucks, and Burger King. Blue Diamond, a well-known manufacturer of almond goods, sells a sriracha flavor with its other varieties. The term "sriracha" is regarded as being generic
